Custom Calling Features (known as CLASS) are now available from Home Telephone.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR NON-PUBLISHED AND NON-LISTED CUSTOMERS

Subscribers who have non-published or non-listed telephone numbers need to take note of these CLASS features. Because CLASS services work by transmitting the callers number on outgoing calls, your telephone number and name may be displayed to someone with a caller ID device. The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission rules require The Home Telephone Company to offer methods of preventing the transmission of a callers number and name without a monthly fee. Please call our business office if you would like to sign up for this service or have questions.



CALLING NUMBER DELIVERY (CALLER ID): $2.95 per month, Caller ID allows a customer to know the telephone number of the person calling. A caller ID display phone or add on device is required.

CALLING NUMBER DELIVERY with NAME: $3.95 per month, Caller ID with name allows a customer to view the name associated with the number of the incoming call. A Caller ID display is required.

CALL WAITING with CALLER ID: $1.00 per month, (this is in addition to the basic Call Waiting fee). Allows the customer to see, via your Caller ID display, who is calling before interrupting your current call. (Please note: this feature requires a Call Waiting capable display unit.)

ANONYMOUS CALL REJECTION: No charge to subscribers of Caller ID Number or Name. Allows you to reject parties that have intentionally blocked their numbers from being displayed. You can turn this feature on or off from your phone. Start Code: *77, Stop Code: *87

AUTOMATIC CALLBACK: $1.00 per month, this feature allows you automatically redial to a busy number. The system will redial the busy number for up to 30 minutes. When the line becomes available you receive a special ring back and you just pick up the phone to complete the call. You can cancel the redial at any time and you can use your phone normally at anytime while the feature is active. Start Code: *66, Stop Code: *86

AUTOMATIC RECALL: $1.00 per month, this feature stores the last incoming call. The system will tell you when and who the call came from so you can decide if you wish to return the call. Start Code: *69, Stop Code: *89

CUSTOMER ORIGINATED TRACE: $1.00 per successful activation. Allows you to trace harassing phone calls. You can initiate the trace on the last call you received. This information is printed at the telephone office and can be forwarded to a law enforcement agency upon your request. Activation Code: *57

The following four SELECTIVE CALL FEATURES are priced the same: $1.00 per month or 15 numbers or $2.00 per month for 30 numbers. Each feature allows you to build your own telephone number list. You are in control of these lists and may modify them at anytime. Our system will voice prompt you through the setup and change options right from your phone.

SELECTIVE CALL ACCEPTANCE: Stop unwanted phone calls. This feature allows you to choose the calls you receive. Start Code: *64, Stop Code: *64

SELECTIVE CALL REJECTION: Stop harassing phone calls. You can build a list of telephone numbers you do not to receive calls from. Start Code: *60, Stop Code: *60

SELECTIVE CALL FORWARDING: Receive special calls away from home. Forward selected calls to another number. Other calls are treated normally. Start Code: *63, Stop Code: *63

SELECTIVE DISTINCTIVE RINGING: Answer only the calls you want. Allows you to develop a special list of telephone numbers that will have a special ring. Start Code: *61, Stop Code: *61


OTHER NEW FEATURES


TEEN SERVICE: $4.00 per month. Allows a second number to be assigned to the same line. The second number will ring two short rings.

CANCEL CALL WAITING: $1.00 per month. Allows you to turn off Call Waiting before making that important call that you do not want to be interrupted on.

VOICE MAIL: Two packages to fit your needs. No more broken machines or tapes! Can be accessed remotely from any phone. (Toll charges apply when applicable.) Internet users Voice Mail will answer your calls while you are online and take a message no missed calls!

REMOTE CALL FORWARDING: Forgot or need to change your call forwarding but don’t have time to go back to the office or your home? Do it remotely from any phone! ( Toll charges apply when applicable.)

TOLL RESTRICTION: Have a need to control who has access to make long distance calls? Two options will be offered, per call or toggle on/off restriction.
