Effective June 1, 2007 ONVOY, the long distance service provider for HTCLD, will be adding an In-State Cost Recovery Fee of $3.95 per line using HTCLD. This charge goes directly to ONVOY and no percentage to Home Telephone Company. Home Telephone Company was not part of this process and is exploring alternatives for a long distance service provider, though most long distance carriers do have similar charges in the current business environment. We still believe the 14 cent rate is a good deal, but each customer has to evaluate their call patterns and pricing options themselves. We apologize for this fee, though HTC had no part in its implementation. |
